Things have gone a bit moustache-crazy in our house recently. My husband taking part in Movember has resulted in flashbacks to my early teens and a rather embarrassing crush on Tom Selleck in Magnum P.I. Everywhere I look, I spot a furry top lip. It's even had an impact on the Christmas cards that I'm choosing to send this year and a some decoration choices for the new shelf above our bed.
First up are these super fun Christmas cards from Made With Love. I spotted them a couple of weeks ago and thought they'd be ideal for my husband and little dudes (no prizes for guessing who's getting which one). They're printed on recycled, eco friendly card and I love their cheeky charm. The designs are simple but very lovely nonetheless. Both cost £3.50 and can be personalised. They come with a festive red envelope too. Fantashtic!
And in the bedroom ... we recently bought a RIBBA picture ledge from Ikea for the awkward space above our bed (the ceiling starts to slope just a little bit higher than where the photo ends) and the loveable 'tash' seems to have made its way on to there too. I found the Let it Grow postcard on sale in Paperchase and the moustache straws are from Molly Meg (maybe not conventional bedroom decorations but I love them).
The lovely lights are from Cable and Cotton. I came across them via several reviews on other blogs and thought they'd work really wrapped around our headboard. Their twinkly glow has proved to be perfect for helping wild little boys to wind down for bed and also for sleepy mamas to wake up whilst drinking a hot cup of tea and wondering how it can be 6am already. I'd definitely recommend them.
If you spot any other moustachioed momentos while out on your travels, do let me know. Or if you too were once enamoured of the lovely Mr. Selleck, please give me a shout so I don't feel so alone in my strange predilection. Go on, you can admit it!
