If you were to put me on the spot and ask me what my favourite colour is, I might dither for a moment, but would inevitably respond with dove grey or burnt orange. I adore both. Mention pink, and I'd shake my head. Me? Pink? I don't think so. It's almost been written in stone that photographs don't lie, so I give you a recent selection from my archives, and what do you think? Do I like pink? I guess I need to reconsider my answer to what my favourite colour is and throw fuchsia in to the mix, too. It seems to be prevalent in my home and wardrobe without me even consciously realising I'm buying it. It is such a cheery colour though, right?
When Merci Maman, creators of stunning personalised jewellery, asked me to choose an early Christmas present for myself from their website, I went straight in to my 'safe' mode and looked for something in a very neutral colour or with a pop of orange. I was originally torn between a personalised gem spinning ring with a labradorite stone and a simple but lovely personalised disc bracelet. But, what did I opt for in the end?
Well, I just couldn't get this fuchsia leather wrap bracelet out of my head. Look at it. Isn't the colour divine?! I love that the charms sit flat against the bracelet and also how discreet the personalisation is. Just the initials of my two cheeky cherubs and so nicely engraved on the sterling silver star charms. It's perfect!
The leather strap wraps three times around my wrist (it's 60cm long and 4mm wide) and is super easy to fasten and tighten. It's become my new favourite thing to wear.
Merci Maman have kindly offered a personalised leather wrap bracelet with up to three flat charms to one lucky reader, too. Don't worry if fuchsia's not your colour as it comes in orange, silver and tan, too. You can also opt for 18K gold plated charms as opposed to silver and they come in star or heart shapes, as well.
