Woden ... the Scandinavian sneakers movement

The Ordinary Lovely: Woden ... the Scandinavian sneakers movement

They're beautiful, right?! Look at the leopard print. And the shiny, black leather. And the cushioned-cork sole. They look so good, they're almost edible! I've been the proud owner of these Woden trainers for a couple of weeks now, and I still stop to admire them every time I walk past them in my bedroom, or every time I walk past a mirror when I'm wearing them. What can I say? I'm a complete sucker for a cool pair of sneakers.

The name Woden is derived from Works of Denmark, telling of the brand's Scandinavian roots, and with a philosophy focusing on nature, style, quality and design, you can be assured of seriously stylish shoes. Seriously, seriously stylish. And it's in no way style over substance either as all Woden sneakers are designed as much for quality and comfort as they are to look amazing.

Normally, around this time of year, I ditch sandals for boots, but these trainers are proving to be perfect for autumn days. And I love that the black and white leopard print adds a bit more interest to my usual mum-iform of jeans and jumpers. It's stops me from looking quite so bland. They're insanely comfortable too so it's easy to chase after the boys when they get a bit carried away on their scooters.

If you want to check out the other styles available, you can find them on the Tessuti website (the Ydun Met Train's are particularly swoon worthy ... sports-luxe fans will adore them). They were kind enough to gift me this pair to try but it's a shop that holds a special place in my heart as, when I lived in Chester after university, it was where I used to spend pretty much all of my salary. The clothes! Oh, the clothes! I still pop in whenever I'm in the city ... it's up on the rows on Bridge Street if you're passing. And well worth a look!
