I have another 'My Favourite Finds' post for you today, the series where I share something small and lovely (and mostly purse-friendly) that I've welcomed in to my home, and that I think you'd also be rather fond of.
Today, it's the turn of a range which is way more Scandinavian in style than my usual tastes, and a lot less colourful, too. However, I can forgive the absence of fuchsia and orange for a collection that's so beautiful to look at and so incredibly well made.
Have you heard of the Danish design brand, Stelton? If not, you've been missing out. Their tableware is flawless, a mixture of brilliant design and amazing practicality. And the Emma collection is my absolute favourite.
While I have quite a few things on my wish list, the Emma tray in white and the Emma tea vacuum jug in black (get me, going monochrome) in the top spots, it's the Emma vacuum mugs in two gorgeous blue tones that I actually own.
Made from double-walled glazed stoneware, they're ideal for someone like me who has a preference for hotter-than-the-sun drinks. Your tea or coffee is kept uber warm while the outside of the cup is still really cool to the touch.
And, look! They're so pretty.
The absence of a handle means that you can use one or both of them (they come as a set of two, and there's a grey set if blue is not for you) as a vase, or a pen holder, or even in the bathroom for your tooth brushes.
I love multifunctional products. And a £22.95 for a set of two, you're getting amazing design at a fantastic price. A potential Christmas present for design lovers?
You can buy the Stelton Emma collection at Black by Design. Pop over for a look and let me know which is your favourite piece. I'll be waiting on the sofa, cup of tea in hand, to hear from you.
Have a great weekend!
