'Another blanket? Just what we need!'
Words laced with sarcasm. Actually. Forget that. Positively dripping with sarcasm would be a more accurate description.
My husband? Not a fan of my new H&M blanket, it would seem.
But at £24.99 for a great quality blanket with a fab geometric design, I'm going to give you five reasons why you should pick one up, too. Just ignore Paul. I normally do. He's used to it.
Something special on the sofa
The navy and white pattern works so well with the nation's favourite colour, grey. And from spending way too much time on Instagram, I've deduced that pretty much every home in the UK has at least one grey chair or sofa. Draped over an arm, the blanket not only looks good but is easy to grab for cooler evenings when you want an extra layer to watch Love Island under. Plus, it's 87 percent cotton so no uncomfortable polyester-related sweating.
The blanket also makes an amazing table cloth. It's the perfect size for a small dining table and is machine washable at 30 degrees. Navy and mint is one of my ultimate colour combinations so I'll be using mine outdoors in the garden.
Feeling fabulous under foot
Because of the jacquard-weave, the blanket feels quite substantial. Use it as a rug and not a single person would blink. I wouldn't suggest putting it in a hallway or other high-traffic areas but in a bedroom? It would work amazingly well!
It has fringing. Hence making it festival-wear. Correct?
When the weather changes
And finally, with the temperamental British weather we all need a blanket at the ready to throw on the bed, right? This one is the perfect size and weight to give you a touch more warmth. And blankets always make a bed look cosier and more inviting, anyway.
So, another blanket? I think it's just what we ALL need! Wouldn't you agree?
