Hydrangeas make me happy (but you can keep your straw bags)

Hydrangeas make me happy ... but you can keep your straw bags

How many pictures of the same pot of hydrangeas is too many for one post?

One?

Two?

Is nine okay? - Are nine okay? - Is nine okay? - Which is grammatically correct? - Do you know?

Anyway, moving swiftly on ... let's go with nine!

They're all from slightly different angles and with marginally different backgrounds, so we can agree on nine, right?

You don't mind, do you?

Or have hydrangeas had the same impact on you as straw bags have had one me?

Too much of a good thing?

I used to love straw bags but I fear that Instagram has ruined then for me forever as they are everywhere, on every feed, adorned by every single person ever everywhere. What was once a summer staple now makes me puff out my cheeks and wrinkle my nose. I'll stick to my leather satchels even if they aren't as pretty or as dainty during the warmer months, thank you.

But hydrangeas. How they make me happy. How they make me smile. They're an Instagram cliche that I can fully get on board with and embrace. Just look at them. Brightening up my patio and making me never want to go indoors.

What do you think?

Do you like them?

So is nine too few photographs? - Are nine too few photographs? - Is or are? - Which is it? - I should probably look that up rather than bother you with my lack of grammar skills, right?

Anyway if you want more hydrangea photos to admire, I'm obviously more than willing to oblige. Or just pop round for a cup of tea and see them in person. I've got the perfect spot for you ...
