It's no secret that I'm obsessed with tinkering with my boys' bedrooms. Partly, it's due to their changing tastes and interests but mostly it's because kids' rooms are so much fun. You can pack an extraordinary amount of colour, interest and quirkiness in them which would look a bit strange elsewhere in the home. I always keep any big purchase plain, though, - beds, wardrobes, cupboards, carpets - tending to opt for white or neutral colours so that they serve as the perfect backdrop for the ever-changing accessories.

Hello! How are you? How's your summer going?

As you can probably imagine, with my two boys off school for six weeks, time for me to write and post on here is quite scarce. Instead, I've been fielding frequent requests for snacks (like every twelve seconds) and refereeing some mammoth bickering sessions.
