I have my priorities in order AKA welcome to the gin bar

Taking inspiration from Hollywood's finest who turn to method acting in order to secure an amazing performance, last weekend, Paul and I turned to method drinking in order to get in to character and secure an amazing home bar. Yes, gin and tonic in hand, we went online shopping for the latest addition to our new abode. And, it was a huge success ... very similar to prosecco purchase roulette but with clearer goals. I can definitely recommend it.

When Reeves sent me the most amazing starter kit to unleash my colourful creativity for their latest Instagram campaign (search the #wearereeves hashtag), it was at the very start of the summer holidays so I wanted to do something that the boys could get involved with too. You'd be forgiven for thinking that a putting together a home mini bar isn't the most child-friendly acitvity. However, I bed to differ. Making party accessories, drawing and writing up recipe cards, and mixing alcohol-free fizzy drinks? That's complete and utter joy for a four and six year old!

It feels a little bit wrong, like using the powers of good for evil, taking a piece of furniture which has been so thoughtfully designed and manufactured for a child's room and turning it in to a bar, but oh my, just look at it! My apologies, Great Little Trading Co., the Clifton organiser really is a fantastic product for keeping bedrooms tidy and storing so, so many toys, but it's also amazing at storing so, so many bottles of gin. So, so many!
