I'm so, so sorry to all of you who asked about the table linen in my simple summer post back in May. Tea towels and pom pom tiebacks, not two things which naturally go together, right? One performs a humble household task and the other adds a touch of frivolity or glamour to your curtains. But let me tell you, combined in the right way, they are crafting dynamite. Well, dynamite might be a slight exaggeration but a few minutes spent on a sewing machine can leave you with a seriously cute bag. Yep, a little drawstring bag made from an inexpensive cloth and a length of cord. Crazy! And actually, even if you don't have a sewing machine, you can probably use a sewing needle. They are that easy to make.
