Tea towels and pom pom tiebacks, not two things which naturally go together, right? One performs a humble household task and the other adds a touch of frivolity or glamour to your curtains. But let me tell you, combined in the right way, they are crafting dynamite. Well, dynamite might be a slight exaggeration but a few minutes spent on a sewing machine can leave you with a seriously cute bag. I'm finally giving in and admitting to myself that it really is autumn. No more glancing longingly at my sandals and suncream. It's too late for them now. Back in the cupboard they must go. I'm still feeling a touch sad about no warm weather for the next few months but the thought of Halloween and Bonfire Night is cheering me up. They're two of my most favourite celebrations.
