Stuff we did in Scotland that the whole family loved

We’ve just come back from our third family holiday in Scotland since the boys were born. We love it there. It’s like Wales but not Wales so offers a familiarity but with slightly different things to see and do. And the fact that we can hit the border in three hours after a quick stop at the world’s best services (Tebay, for those of you not in the know) is a huge bonus.

Our stay at Cameron Lodges ... the full review

Two weeks after returning from our stay at Cameron Lodges and we're still sighing about how brilliant it was. I've even been online to check if we can sneak in another visit before the end of the year. And Christmas at Cameron House sounds like the most picture-perfect and magical affair. I have my fingers hovering over the 'book' button.

But before I get ahead of myself, let me tell you all about the three nights we spent in a luxury Cameron Club Lodge on the banks of Loch Lomond.

Postcards from Loch Lomond

This time last week, we were slowly making our way up from the North Wales countryside to the beautiful banks of Loch Lomond for a three night stay at the luxurious Cameron Lodges. We had the most amazing time in one of my most favourite parts of the world. My youngest son even cried on the morning we had to return because he was so sad to leave, and my mum and I (my parents joined us for the three nights) are already planning a second stay.

While I wade through the hundreds of photographs and find the words to describe everything we experienced, I wanted to share some of our highlights and my favourite snaps. I'll be back with a more in depth post in a week or so, but here's what we enjoyed most about our Cameron Lodges holiday.
