Despite writing about lots of lovely things for the home, I’m not actually a massive shopper. Bigger items, I buy with the intention of them lasting almost forever. Smaller, more decorative accessories, while I might pick them up a little more frequently, I still expect them to be more than a passing trend and to have, if possible, multiple uses.
If you read the post about my first impressions of the Cricut Maker, you’ll know that I became somewhat hypnotised watching the blade slide silkily through the cardstock cutting out the swirling shapes of the flowers. How many did I make? Too many!
So excited was I about working with Cricut and receiving a Cricut Maker and a box of incredible craft goodies that I left them sat unopened in our home office for a whole week, would you believe? I’d walk past, have a sneak peek, and then carry on working. I googled craft projects, checked out YouTube tutorials, pinned potential makes but still the box remained shut.
